1st Quarter Peal on this chime of 8 bells (back 6 chimed only). To give thanks for her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's serve to our country and to mark the Accession of our new King Charles III.
Prior to the screening of Her Majesty's funeral in the church. The Chiming ended with "The National Anthem" that involved all 8 bells and then "The Six Tailors" on no 8 bell. (96 strokes on this bell by 2 youngsters, with parental supervision, aged 9 and 8 years taking it in turns to chime 9x10 chimes and then the final 6 blows)
