Rung in solemn memory prior to the state funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II

The tenor bell here rung today was cast by Thomas Derby of Kings Lynn around 1450 and is believed to have been for rung for Royal events since the time of Henry VI. On the shoulder of this and the 3rd bell are ‘Royal Heads’, depicting Edward III, these being two of fewer than 50 surviving examples.
