Giving thanks for her long life devoted to dedication and her remarkable Reign - 70 years of unstinting service and duty. 'Now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace' Rung up to the National Minute’s Silence at 8pm on the eve of the State Funeral at Westminster Abbey and during the final night of Lying in State in Westminster Hall. (The conductor wishes to thank the band for helping him ring this peal, the first since not being well and quite a challenge for him, although a period of rest is most certainly required once again!)
