To mourn the passing, on the eighth day of September, of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Defender of the Faith.

God Save the King.

The tenor bell tolled at minute intervals – one toll for each year of her reign.

Tolled shortly after 1pm when the Union Jack on top of the Church tower was once again returned and lowered to half mast during this period of National Mourning following the short celebratory period of the Proclamation of King Charles III beginning the previous day at St James's Palace and the County Proclamation this day at 1pm at Lincoln Cathedral.
