To mourn the passing of our most Gracious Sovereign Lady, Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Defender of the Faith.

God Save the King.

Rung prior to the morning service with the bells fully muffled and the tenor open at backstroke. For the final bit of ringing diminishing rounds were rung ending up with the tenor tolling up to the service when a minutes silence was observed.

This is the first time the new full set of muffles have been used (purchased in readiness for this sad occasion) and we thank the anonymous donor who paid for them so that we could mark this occasion in the most respectful and proper way.

Our Ringing Master Christopher Woodcock wishes to be associated with this ringing but did not ring due to health constraints.
