Specially arranged and rung to mark the 50th anniversary of the first peal of maximus by an all ladies band, rung at St Stephen's on Saturday 20th December 1975, in which the ringers of 3 and 7 participated.
Ringers of 3, 4, 5, 7 and 11 participated in the 40th anniversary of this performance.
Remembering Di Bridle, Margaret Chapman and Liz Coke who were in the original peal and we have sadly lost since the 40th anniversary. Liz Coke was due to ring in the peal today.
