Service ring, rung half muffled in honour of our Tower Captain Mike Pomeroy, whose influence on all Limerick ringers over many years was immense.

Rung Half-muffled prior to the funeral service for Tower Captain Michael J. (Mike) Pomeroy. An encourager, tutor, friend and consummate bell ringer who gave so much to our wonderful Exercise, and whose passing has left a void in our tower and lives.

Dedicated to a ceremony to mark the erection of a headstone on an unmarked grave today in Glasnevin Cemetery. The six buried are Josephine Murray and William Murray, aunt and uncle to James Joyce, Marianne Walsh, Peter Walls, May Walls and Pauline Walls. All related to Siobhan Walls wife of ringer 5.
