Each bell was rung half-muffled to mark the passing of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

At the conclusion of the 41 gun salute fired from Hillsborough Castle to mark the passing of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Each half-muffled bell was rung individually for ten minutes.

At noon the sixth bell was rung half-muffled to mark the passing of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

At noon the tenor bell was tolled half-muffled for 99 strokes to mark the passing of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Each ringer rang a separate half-muffled bell for a brief time alone in the ringing room. Rung on the eve of the funeral of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Tolling in memoriam, HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

Marking the 500 years since Martin Luther was called to defend his Protestant beliefs at the Diet of Worms, on 18th April 1521, where he refused to recant, declaring "Here I stand - I can do no other". It also represents the first true schism of the Western Church.

Rung on the back six prior to the ceremony at which Lord Downshire, Constable of Hillsborough Fort, invested six new Warders to Hillsborough Fort Guard. The Guard was established by King Charles II in 1660. Our ringing master is one of the new Warders.

Rung for Harvest Evensong. A red letter day. With masks and strategic placing of ringers, this was the first ringing on all ten bells since 1st March 2020.
