One of a number of touches rung during 30 minutes of ringing for morning service. The first time all six bells have been rung together in this tower since the 16th March 2020. With thanks to everyone who has made it possible but with particular thanks to all the members of this band who have enthusiastically grasped every opportunity to ring whatever the restrictions.

Rung as a compliment to fellow band member Heather Williams on her installation as Mayor of Ruthin. There is a long history of ringing for "Mayor Making" at St.Peters. The first time more than four bells have been rung in this tower since March 14th 2020.

A QP in honour of Kit Carter (following his funeral service) who made these bells ringable and made ringing fun.

Specially arranged and rung in memory of Marlene Jones, former Tower Captain and Churchwarden at this church, and Kim Evans (Nee Lupton) former ringer at this church, both of whom died during the pandemic.

First quarter on these bells since St.David`s Day 2020.

Chimed to mark the 200th Anniversary of the installation of the first Ellacombe chiming apparatus.

Specialy organised and rung to welcome the Offa Mission Area pilgrims on their pilgrimage along the Llangollen Canal from Trevor Basin to Llantysilio Church.

Ring to mark 73 years of the NHS.The band included two employees of the NHS and two former employees.

A special ring for Ike Holzhaus who died yesterday in the Netherlands. In fulfilment of a promise made by Marina to Ike before she died. Rest in Peace.

First quarter peal on tower bell - 6. First member of the new Ruthin band to ring a quarter peal

Rung immediately before the annual Civic Service and as a compliment to Heather Williams, member of the local band, on her appointment as Mayor of Ruthin.

Rung by the Sunday Service band in memory of four members of the congregation at this church who have died during the pandemic. Sybil Jones, Tegid Jones, David Wood and Mary Williams. Rest in Peace.

Rung to celebrate the birth of Katherine Marshall (on 2nd June); daughter of 2, granddaughter of 5.

In memory of Gareth Heald, who died suddenly and unexpectedly aged 45. Rung half muffled following his funeral. Gareth's mother is the church warden and former treasurer of St. Collen's and his late father was organist and choir master.

Rung in memory of Reg Jones (d.19/09/20) and June Jones (d.6/11/20) both ringers at this church. Their sons Richard and Gareth came to listen to the ringing and the Reverend Peter said prayers before the ringing started.

Our first quarter peal since February 2020 rung on practice night to celebrate the engagement of 4 to Harry Collins.. First quarter peal on these bells 1 and 2 and the first in a minor method 1.

Rung following a wedding and to mark the appointment of the Revd Gareth Erlandson (4) as Priest-in-Charge rooted in Old Colwyn, Llanelian and Betws-yn-Rhos in the Diocese of St Asaph

Rung as a retirement compliment to The Reverend Kate Tiltman, Offa Mission Area Leader, immediately before her last service.

Also rung as a get well compliment to Shaun Cunningham, local ringer, and his wife Angela, both injured in a motor-cycle accident on September 24th.

Specially arranged and rung in memory of members of this Parish who have died since the Pandemic began - Harold Evans, Terry Goble, Pat Manford, Bob Webb, Peter Roberts, Megan Carter, Christeen Burdess.

Especially arranged and rung as a compliment to Keith Overthrow, Tower Captain at this church from 1978 until 2020.

A second quarter peal, this time on eight, to mark the appointment of the Revd Gareth Earlandson (5) as Priest-in-Charge of Old Colwyn, Betws-yn-Rhos and Llanelian. This was his first quarter peal “inside” on eight and we wish him well.

For All Saints Day.

Brian Harris (Cheshire) listened to this quarter. Brian is the only survivor of a band who rang the only peal on these eight bells, Plain Bob Major, on the 10th November 1951 70 years ago next week!

Peal attempt lost due to a broken rope. These bells were installed as a War Memorial following the First World War and the first peal on them was rung on November 12th 1921.

Specially arranged and rung in memory of Len Hewittson. For upwards of 50 years Len was a highly respected and much loved member of St.Mary`s Churchyard group.
