Rung to celebrate the 54th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Sadler's wedding, which fell on the previous day, and as a birthday compliment to R. W. Pye on the eve of his 17th birthday

A Date Touch.

The ringer of the treble is only 15 years of age. Believed to be the first rung by a local band for over 100 years, the last one, in 1828, being recorded on a board in the belfry.
