The St Peter’s Church Petersfield Bell Ringers and members of the Alton and Petersfield District ringers by kind invitation from the Winchester Cathedral tower captain held a practice evening at Winchester Cathedral on Wednesday 17th August. Jess Hornsby, assistant ringing master organized the ringing of rounds and call changes some of the young ringers age just fourteen and fifteen ringing the 35 hundred weight tenor bell. The more experienced ringers ringing complicated methods of Grandsire Cinques.
