Rung in memory of Michael Reynolds of Swineshead, whose funeral takes place tomorrow.

Rung half muffled as a service touch before the funeral of Michael Reynolds.

After this touch a few minutes of diminishing rounds were rung, finishing with tolling the tenor as Michael was brought along the path and into the church. The path was lined by many of his friends and family.

We would like to associate the quarter with everyone who rang today, and those who were unable to.

Gosberton bells were rung in memory of Michael David Reynolds, as a thanksgiving for his life.

May he rest in peace: 7th February 1994 - 1st December 2023.

Farewell to Julia and many thanks for being a part of the Alford Band.

Wishing Catherine the Princess of Wales for a full recovery from her cancer diagnosis

Rung to mark the 70th anniversary of the consecration of the church. On the night of 8th/9th May 1941 - the church was completely destroyed by enemy action. The 5 bells were undamaged and were re-hung in the newly built church after the war. They were subsequently augmented to 6 in 1959.

The first ringing on the full ring of eight since January 2018 following the removal and refurbishing of all eight clappers by Anthony D Walker and Luke Tobin. And a good clean up of the bell chamber by David Reynolds and David Collin (and helpers!)

Rung for Easter Morning service and dedicated to the memory of Tom Bartle, aged 18 years. Tom had learnt to ring at this church and had enjoyed happy times here and at Belton-in-Isle-of-Axholme and Haxey. He had so much to offer but his life ended tragically and so very sadly. At his funeral on Maundy Thursday the 7th bell was tolled for ten minutes before and after the service by Ted Steele and Clare Rogers.

The band wishes to associate the Barker family with this quarter.
