Rung prior to the annual "Gilbert Hannam Day" service, attended by current Year 11 and Year 13 pupils of Midhurst Rother College. It is tradition that on the anniversary of his death each year a service is held in Gilbert Hannam's memory, who founded the first free school in Midhurst in 1672. This band includes a former pupil of Midhurst Grammar School (3, 1975-1980) and a current Year 13 at MRC (Conductor).
