Remembering Hubert Mitson of Buxhall.
Hubert was a member of the Suffolk Guild for over 60 years and donated the Mitson Shield in 1963. The shield is awarded to the winner of the annual Guild six-bell method striking competition. The Mitson shield was hosted at Great Barton in 1977 and both the ringers of the 2nd and tenor have been part of winning bands (1997 & 2017 respectively.)
