We need your help. BellBoard aims to be the definitive record of change-ringing performances. It has become central to ringing life – for searching, recording and following performances across the world. It remains completely free to use. Submitting and searching will always remain free.

Keeping a reliable, long-term, searchable record is not cost-free. It depends on infrastructure, careful stewardship, and skilled work behind the scenes – from maintaining the system to correcting data and ensuring the record remains accurate and complete.

BellBoard is built by ringers, for ringers, and relies on their generosity. Please support BellBoard’s objectives with a regular donation to The Ringing World.

Become a sustaining supporter

Many ringers already support the Ringing World through subscriptions or performance donations. If you do, thank you – that support is vital.

A recurring donation helps us:

• Maintain and improve the technical infrastructure (hosting, backups, resilience)
• Support staff time for data corrections, queries and governance
• Steward a long-term, accurate and searchable archive for the whole ringing community
• Develop and improve BellBoard and the Ringing World’s wider digital systems

Suggested giving

Please give whatever feels appropriate to you. Depending on how often you use BellBoard, you might consider:

• Occasional use: around £1 per month or £10–£15 per year
• Regular use: around £2 per month or £20–£25 per year
• Frequent use: around £3+ per month or £30–£40 per year

How to set up a monthly donation

Setting up a recurring donation is simple and secure:

1. Make sure you’re logged in to BellBoard (you’ll see your name in the top right corner)
2. Click the button below to go to our secure PayPal page
3. Choose an amount and tick the box ’Make this a monthly donation’
4. Complete the setup through PayPal

Once set up, your donation will be collected automatically each month. You can cancel or change it at any time.
